This policy explains how Eaglesham Group, trading as Headland Australia (ABN 39 645 180 347), handles your personal information when you use our website, contact us, sign up to our emails, or buy something from us. We keep it plain. If anything here isn't clear, email us at hello@headlandaus.com and we'll explain it.
When you fill in our contact form, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, your state, what you're looking for, and whatever you write in your message. You don't have to give us your phone number or business name, but a name and email are needed so we can reply.
When you sign up to our email list, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your name.
When you buy a product from us, your payment is handled by Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe collects your name, email and card details to process the purchase. We never see or store your full card number.
Like most websites, ours collects some information about your visit automatically, such as your approximate location, the pages you look at, how you got to our site, and the type of device and browser you're using. We use this to understand what's useful and to improve the site.
We don't sell your personal information to anyone. Ever.
To run the website and our business, we use a handful of trusted third-party services. When you use our site, some of your information passes through them:
Each of these has its own privacy policy. Some of them store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By using our site you understand that your information may be handled overseas.
Our site uses cookies and similar tracking, mainly through Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. These help us see how the site is performing and make our advertising work better.
The Meta Pixel uses a feature called advanced matching. In plain terms: if you enter details like your email, name, phone or state into our contact form, that information is scrambled (so it can't be read as plain text) and shared with Meta. Meta uses it to match your activity to your Facebook or Instagram account, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to find them useful.
You're in control of this. You can:
Separate from the website information above, our HR and work health and safety work sometimes involves sensitive information about you or your workers. That can include health information, injury and incident records, and details tied to workplace matters. We only collect this where it's needed for the work you've engaged us to do, and with the appropriate authority.
We handle it with extra care:
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, or as long as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your details and we're not legally required to keep them, we will.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. The services we use are established providers with their own security measures. No system is ever completely secure, but we treat your information carefully.
You can ask us to:
To make any of these requests, email hello@headlandaus.com. We'll get back to you.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Our website and services are made for businesses, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If we make a significant change, we'll do our best to let you know.
